WiseTown won #OdiamoGliSprechi competition, organised by E.ON on the occasion of Philip Kotler Marketing Forum Italy 2017.

The award ceremony took place on 7th October on the occasion of Philip Kotler Marketing Forum Italy (PKMF 2017), at IULM headquarters in Milan. The contest is the result of the partnership between E.ON Italy and Nexo Corporation, the company which created PKMF Italian edition; this year the Forum focused in fact on waste reduction: one of the most important themes for E.ON, that aimed to support entrepreneurial idea with innovative content by promoting #odiamoglisprechi challenge.

The competition engaged several start-up, which were divided in two categories: “Energy saving & Smart Home” and “Smart City & Mobility 2.0”.

The 9 start-up in final showed their projects on 6th October during PKMF 2017: the day after Philip Kotler e Péter Ilyés, E.ON Italy CEO, awarded WiseTown, which won €7.500 to be used to take part in a mentoring and acceleration programme at Innovation Lab of IULM University.

Péter Ilyés, E.On Italy CEO, said: “#odiamoglisprechi, the claim that has led our repositioning from 2016, means to be alongside consumers to help them transparently to be protagonists of the decisions concerning them. We are sure that supporting start-ups and entrepreneurial idea […] allows us to broaden our scope by promoting innovation and use of new technologies.”

Marco Raspati, Nexo Corporation CEO and PKMF Owner, said: “The challenge promoted by E.ON within PKMF 2017 has perfectly fit the theme of this edition: lean marketing. The projects have witnessed through their innovative coefficient the way marketing can address successfully.”

This year PKMF focused on R-Evolution Marketing by underlining the importance of innovation and startup, the core business of contemporary economy.
