The Municipality of Fratta Todina is a medieval-style village located in the Province of Perugia, Umbria. There are numerous challenges for the Municipality of Fratta Todina as it focuses on new technologies to enhance competitiveness, stimulate employment and increase the attractiveness of the area.

In this perspective, it also aims to protect the welfare of citizens and actively involve them in the care of the territory.

In pursuit of these goals, the municipality will adopt the WiseTown platform to have interactive information panels offering information on the well-being of the citizenry. The same platform also integrates the space that welcomes community voices and reports.

The Citizen Welfare Dashboard is an innovative and comprehensive tool designed to provide a detailed and accessible overview of different dimensions related to community well-being. Through this platform, various key indicators can be monitored and analyzed in order to assess the effectiveness of policies and interventions geared toward improving citizens’ quality of life.

Data and indicators in the Dashboard can cover the distribution of children and young people in different areas of the city, the incidence of the elderly population over 75, and the ratio of elderly to young people. And not only that, the tool provides an overview of the distribution of households, the incidence of large families, and other relevant information.

Monitoring social welfare is essential for identifying needs, allocating resources, adapting policies and programs, promoting equity, and evaluating the effectiveness of measures to improve citizens’ quality of life.
